My Grandson over on the left here is showin off his Sight Words DVD and also his Letter's and Sounds Dvd both from Rock n Learn. He absolutely loves these DVD's! The characters singing and playing musical instruments like rock stars make him laugh and keep him engaged for the entire time it is on. He has been watching the new Sight Words Dvd now for a couple weeks and is already pointing out words he is recognizing from the movie! I think it is so amazing to watch a child learn something and they are so proud of themselves. He has pointed out the ON and OFF words and many others for me, I am so impressed! My son who is 18 was taught how to read using SIGHT WORDS and not PHONICS so I am very familiar with this type of learning, though I don't really agree with it, it does work, as does Phonics. Teachers, in different demographics, are using one or the other to teach children to read, and I am just glad that due to ROCK N LEARN my grandson can get a jump start for Kindergarten this fall. They use such cute little rhymes and songs to make it so fun for the child to learn and they feel like a BIG kid with the Cartoonish Rock music, it really is too cute! 

He dances and sings along as best as he can, hehehe.
