My grandson and I had a shoe tying party the other day! I received a pair of Loopeez to try out and see how they can help a child learn to tie their shoes. The instructions were simple and easy to follow, and they made complete sense! I can't believe no one has figured out how to make a jig for shoe tying before!  It holds the loops so the childs small, uncoordinated fingers can be free to tie the rabbit ears! How ingenious is that? I thought it was pretty neat! Teaching my children years ago was a pain staking task, to say the very least, I wish we had had these Loopeez to help us out! It gives the child a much more visual opportunity to see what is going on in under their tangle of fingers. My Grandson figured it out immediately what was needed to be done, so for the time being we are just leaving his Loopeez on his shoe laces so all he has to do is cross the ears and loop and he is ready to run! The whole rest of the concept will be all brought into context as he continues to practice and watch the rest of us, and of course when "NENA" visits we sit and practice for our final goal. He just turned 5 in March and HAS to know by school this fall, how to completely tie his own shoes for Kindergarten, which I personally think is ridiculous!! That is a whole different topic I could go on and on about, but I won't today! Lucky YOU! :)
