Fit Moms for Life: How to Have Endless Energy to Outplay Your Kids, seems like the most fun and logical way for moms to get in shape. The whole book is based on common sense and tested theories. There are so many success stories throughout the book, after reading it, I felt ready to jump up and start exercising. The whole concept is a positive approach to getting the "old me" back after having kids, health problems, emotional problems and more. My favorite chapter in the book is Chapter 5: Food as Fuel. The 16 Rules to Eat By made me rethink my whole grocery shopping experience, cooking style and menu planning. My favorite rule, #13, Give yourself 2 to 3 cheat meals a week, really sold me on Dustin's Fit Moms experience. If you know you can indulge and have pizza and a greasy cheeseburger, you will be more likely to stick to your diet the other 33 meals that week. Often times after I splurge on one "bad meal," I get discouraged and don't go back to my diet. I am punishing myself for not having willpower to Just Say No to that huge ice cream sundae. Knowing its OK to cheat occasionally makes the program more realistic for me and many other moms! The New Rules of Cardio chapter was also a winner! The whole concept of cutting out that 30 minutes on the treadmill or elliptical was the best news I've heard all day. I love the idea of doing Burst Training. You would do high impact or high intensity training for 10 secs to 1 minutes (like climbing the stairs, swimming, jumping jacks, even laying on the floor throwing a tantrum) then you let your body recover. At first your rest period is 4 times as long as the work period, but as you get fitter, you can cut the ratio down until you are doing 30 seconds on 30 seconds off. This raises the heart rate and burns more calories than spending hours burning a low number of calories. Other things I loved about Fit Moms for Life:

• This book was written for moms, not overweight middle-aged men. It relates everything to mom-type activities. It makes the book so much easier to relate to.
• We learn to change our minds first in order to change our bodies! Put yourself first, believe change is possible, get rid of negative influences and practice positive thinking are areas that mom's tend to put away when they have children. It's hard to take time for yourself, but it's so important.
• There is a workbook/journal section for documenting your journey. Nothing helps you stick to you goals more than putting it in writing. Having a place to put your beginning and before pictures and measurements will help you see what you can and have accomplished.
• There is a chapter dealing with creating a fit atmosphere for your whole family. My son needs a more active lifestyle! He learns to be a TV, computer and gaming boy by watching his parents. I need to take Dustin's advice and Keep Moving!
• The book includes FREE Bonuses! Who doesn't love getting things for free? There are 2 video series, an audio Flat Stomach Coaching Series and downloadable report on How to Make this your Fittest Year Ever.
• Dustin's Blog is a wealth of information. It highlights success stories, boot camps, Mama tones, supplements and more. Visit his blog here.

I was so excited to be part of the fun review and giveaway. Define Me To a Tee, personalized T-shirts are a unique and stylish way to show your personality! My son ordered his own t-shirt. He loves games of all kinds, so he called himself a 'Gaming Pro" on the t-shirt. He is 1. Addicted to Bad Eggs Online (his new fav online game) 2. Skylanders Champion (he finished the entire Wii Skylanders game) and 3. Marathon Monopoly Player (he never wants to stop! We play Monopoly for days sometimes.)

The whole concept of Define Me To a Tee is so fun. I love it. You can pick anything you want, names, big brother or sister, Best Mom in the World (that would be mine) and more. The only thing Justin didn't like was the pronunciation under the Headline. He didn't get that part. Mom Does Reviews highly recommends Define Me To a Tee to anyone who loves unique T-shirts! Yes, I have to admit, cute Gustafer, the little yellow guy, won me over! Singer/songwriter Morgan Taylor has a way with words and music that appeals to anyone, ages 4 to 104! His silly songs are fun, relaxing and entertaining! I do agree with The NY Times that he is a cross between The Yellow Submarine and Dr Seuss. I have listened to the CD twice now and it just keeps getting better. My favorite song is Pancake Smackdown. Who would have thought of a pancake smackdown? The whole song is about what happens during a pancake smackdown. Let's just say, I'd rather eat my pancakes that get smacked down with a short stack!

The DVD with the music videos (like the YouTube video above) is so much fun. You can play the video in normal mode or karaoke style. How much fun would that be! My son loves to sing and especially loves to memorize song lyrics. He loves the karaoke on the DVD. We have a toy microphone and he used it to "sing" with Gustafer. It was funny. My son loves drawing and creating so even liked the Bonus Features on the DVD: "Making of Year in the Day" and "Gustafer Guitar Lessons."

Mom Does Reviews gives Gustafer 5 out of 5 stack of pancakes. I highly recommend this CD/DVD to anyone who loves silly, fun songs that make you want to smile and sing all day!

First let me tell you about my prize for this giveaway, which of course like any good love story starts out quite sad and tragic. And, ends happily ever after!

January 5, 1995 started out like any snowy, blistery cold day in the Midwest. I had no idea my life would forever be changed when I woke up and made the kiddos breakfast. It was the last day before school started back up after Christmas break and we were off to visit an elderly relative in the nursing home. A family event. We bundled the kids up, loaded everyone in the car and off we went.

As a passenger in any car, I always had an excuse for not wearing a seat-belt. My hair is too long and gets stuck in it. My chest is too big and gets squished. And, it's just so confining! Turns out, it's confining for a reason. Within a 1/2 hour of leaving the house that morning, our car slammed head on into oncoming traffic. Not having a seat-belt on caused me to fly threw the windshield. I woke up a week later with a broken neck, spinal cord injury and stuck in a body that wouldn't move. Now THAT'S confining! They did surgery to repair as much of my neck as possible. A few pins here, some screws there... and off to recover the best I could.

Ever since the new additions to my neck to keep it firmly held in place, sleeping comfortably has been not just a problem, it's a full blown ordeal. I estimate we've spent a few thousand dollars on as many different types of pillows to find just one that doesn't cause what I refer to as 'the rub'. Metal pins and screws rubbing and grinding into the bones they are attached to. I bought soft ones to bunch up, firm ones to prop me up, and everything in between. So frustrating, and very expensive!

When the super folks at Nature's Sleep asked if I'd like to review one of their pillows, I jumped right out of this wheelchair and did the mambo (not really, but close!) I picked the Visco Memory Contour Pillow. This is a contoured shaped pillow with a thicker and thinner side. Moderate density Memory Foam cradles your head and neck. The washable cotton velour cover is very plush and very kind to the skin. It is a wonderful pillow for those with neck pain, snoring, or breathing issues. The contour pillows are best for back or side sleepers. This truly is a premium pillow at an affordable price. And... I. LOVE. IT!





No more waking up every hour to readjust, re-scrunch, and achy. In the three weeks since I've had my awesome pillow, there's been about 5 or 6 times I woke up the next morning in the exact same position I went to sleep in! I didn't even roll over! Didn't move an inch! For someone who's so used to not sleeping well and constantly waking up all night long to finally sleeping through the night; this one pillow has made such a major and positive change in my life. I'm not grouchy from lack of sleep. I have tons more energy to get 'er done, and best of all... NO PAIN!

Remember that commercial from awhile back "I'd like to buy the world a coke"... Well, I'd like to buy the world a Nature's Sleep Memory Contour Pillow! Who knew organic had better flavor then non organic? Newman's Own ORGANIC Review & #giveaway ends

I only recommend products I feel are positive for my readers as well as myself.

My Review:Who knew organic had better flavor then most ?

I received a variety of the snack foods that Newman's Own Organic sells, to taste test on my family and friends, then to let you my readers know how they were.

 First of all, there was nothing that any of us did not like in their product line. 

We all loved the Cinnamon Hermits, they tasted alot like the molasses cookies I bake at Christmas time, They were gone fast! Soft and chewy with amazing flavor! 

 The Newman's O's were all crispy cookie and yummy fillings with all different taste combinations.

 Newman's Own Organic does not skimp on the flavors in any of their products. 

The Pop's-corn was delicious with not alot of unpopped kernels you get in some microwave popcorn

Their chocolate bars were awesome, with smooth caramel in the centers of the caramel cups OH MY! I loved them!!

I could not tell if blind folded, if I was eating organic or not, but I can tell you this, they are way more flavorful then many products on the market today.

The only negative I have is, the black licorice, and thats only because I don't like it ever!! 

HEHE! 

The pomegranate Licorice however was a GREAT surprise!

 My kids loved it too! What a nice change of flavor in a licorice!

 In conclusion I give Newman's Own Organics 2 Thumbs up and an A+! I am just elated that I got to review for them and take the idea of organic meaning bland and blah out of my mind completely!

I have long wavy hair, that gets dried out easily and always seems to have that frizzy look. I was very excited to get my PhotoTrax in the mail last week! I was even more excited to find out how easy they are to use. You know when a product is user-friendly when the instructions only have 3 or 4 steps. The first step was to remove the adhesive squares and stick them to the back of the Trax (one in each corner). Then press the Trax firmly to the wall. Then fill with photos or artwork! Now, if you want to use the Trax for bigger photos or art projects, you can split the Trax and customize them to fit any size picture. They come pre-scored for easy splitting. Mount the bottom Trax on the wall first, the put the photos or papers (all of the same size) on the bottom groove. The place the top Trax onto the photos and press firmly onto the wall. It was so easy to put up, my 9 year-old put some up in his room for his favorite posters that come in his Lego Magazines. We are planning to redecorate his room, using the PhotoTrax will make everything so much easier and less permanent.
