I'd definitely like to read the books first. My daughter already saw the movie and said it was "amazing" but I know the movie would ruin some of the fun of reading it for me. :)

I liked seeing the previews first, then read the book, so I can visualize those actors as the characters. Then I saw the movie. I think it was a good order to go in. :-)
