It isn't for men or women, it is for Love, so if you love someone you should celebrate it.

I feel that it should be a mutual thing.. If it's about loving the one you are with that it should be equal for both parties...

Valentines celebrates love. I buy for everyone, husband, son, daughter-in-law, and especially my grandchildren!

I think mainly it's for the young. Kids and chocolates and love letters at school, newlyweds and romantic evenings, but people who have been married/together for years, have such a deep love and caring that Valentines is everyday.

It's for women. I don't think men would get too upset if they did away with Valentin's day!

I think that it is for both and time for each to spend time with the one they love. My hubby and I buy little sweet things for each other that are just for us or to share with one another

I think that Valentines Day if for both men & women, it's not always about receiving a gift, even though it's nice to receive one. This is one of those years that we won't be able to buy for each other, but we have each other.
Thanks for the giveaway.

For us its mostly about the kids now... well family, we don't really buy gifts, just being together is enough. But I'd say its for both men & women, before we had kids when we celebrated Valentines Day, I always prefered buying gifts than getting them

I think it has mainly been the man who bought for the woman or taking her to dinner but nice to do something nice for the man as well
